Hey, Mr J

I read Batman since I'm nine years old and he always was my favorit of all the comic book heros. I spend so much time reading the books, watching the Tv shows and movies and thinking about own stories as a kid, that my parents were sometimes worried about me but I loved it so much, that they didn't really tried to take it away from me (Just me mom once. She forbidd me to watch Tv on Saturday morning and locked my comic collection away from me but I went to a friend and watched the show with him and when I got home, I sneaked in my parents room and fetched my books back, pretending to be Robin. >D)

A thing a really, really enjoyed - besides Batman grumpy-ness, Alfreds dry humor and Robins lose and sneaky comments - were the villains. Mostly because the were fun - yes you read right, the bad guys in Batman were FUN. Which is the most important thing for a villain, when you are a little child and the villains in batman were the grates fun. They were colourfull, tacky, hillarious and chaotic and her plans were the most insane. And they never won - which is always important when you are a child.

My favorit of them was the Joker with Harley and they still are! So I was really, really thrilled as ~Des-Henkers-Braut asked me if I wanted to do Joker and harley with her.
This was three years ago.
Now we finaly did it.
I can die happy now, I guess.

I love Harley! I love her cute and actually pretty kind nature, her desperate love for the Joker, her dedication and her absolut unconditionally loyalty to him, the fact that the actual cares for him and his plans and that she is willing to sacrefice everything for them.
As I was younger, I wished I had a friend like her. Okay.. maybe someone who is a little less insane...

Besides all this: I really like her design. |D
I tried to do my best and put all my dedication into it and it feeled good. Strange thing but in the pasted months I was rerely satisfied with my work or the outcome of my costumes but Harley... Harley went so well, came out so smooth and nice that I'm just happy and really enjoyed wearing her.
I had the feeling that I started to lose my interest and enjoyment in cosplay but now everything is back. And I'm so thrilled to do new stuff, even some commissions, that I actually can't wait to do so! *_*/
