:icongabrieldevue: as Shock

Gab was part of our NbC Cosplay group last Halloween.
I made her mask, wig, hat and the lace of the dress, ~Des-Henkers-Braut sew the dress itself.

I was never the friend of group cosplay but this time was really fun ans I hope we will cosplay a second time together. <3

Edit: The mask is made from craft foam and paperclay - please stop asking. >__>

This is the best I've seen of Shock's costume yet, and a personal favorite. Fantastic job!

Looks awesome! I've seen other pictures as well, and I have to say, the mask is impressive. Seems like a lot of people are planning on being Shock this Halloween, myself included. I already have my costume mostly done, but I'm wondering how I want to go about the hair; how did you style the wig?

Ohhh my... I should have made a walkthrough for this cosplay. XD
I made her dreads with a wire core but this was not the best idea, because the wire pricks out always.

I really like this photo. She really pulls off the look, especially her expression. I like how her body language kind of screams "innocence," but her expression is devious and plotting =D

I saw in another comment you told someone what the mask was made out of, but, how did you make it? (I, too, want to be Shock for Halloween, haha). I mean, did you make a mold first? I've never used any of the stuff you mentioned, so I'm completely ignorant on this subject. ^.^;;

Nope, no mold.
I cut the main form and a big triangle for the nose, out of foarm and clue them together. Then I curved it and fixed it in the curved position (I used ordinary thread for this) and covered it with paperclay. When the paperclay was dried, I removed the thread (paperclay and foarm shall hold the curved form now) and covered it again with paperclay for more stability, than I added the facial features (mouth, circles under the eyes). When everything was dried again, I added a last coat of smoothing cement. After that, I just had to smooth it with sandpaper and paint it.
You see, not very complicated. :)
